Hello and good morning, it’s me your Bearded Captain, leader of all beards – flag bearer of all beards on digital and digital broadcasting media. I am that Beard who tries to make people laugh and I am that beard who tries to make people smile. My brothers, I pray you’re well in good health looking after yourselves and your beards! Brothers I want to talk about an important issue in the life of Beards.
As you can see around us, the Great British Summer is drawing to an end. Some signs are obvious such as the lack of sun, the cold weather!
But other signs are maybe not quite as obvious. Here brothers, I want offer some words on the subject. So my Beloved’s you will know it’s the end of summer when you see people miserable when you’re out and about. When the sun shines, people’s faces are shining with big smiles.
You tend to here, “It’s hotter here than it is in Barcelona”, other signs are when the barbecue is well wrapped and you can tell it will not be used any time soon. I argue though, it’s always the weather for a barbie! But try to avoid the Manchester rain will you!
This past week or two, I have actually had to wear a coat and socks too! The three quarter shorts have gone too and out have come the sweat pants. I am not one of those nut jobs who when it’s ice cold temperatures wear shorts, I have found out that’s postmen who do that.
Unless it’s minus, like I mean like artic I always wear shorts when I to to bed with t-shirt, but not like our new Bearded Captain t-shirts which you can buy here;
Shower time is solely warm showers and yes I am staying in their for longer now winter is closing in. Obvious signs of the winter are when the nights are longer and days are shorter, let’s not forget the leaves! O leave it out I hear them say (yes a leaves pun).
Coffee in take increases, the fellas from Sri Lanka and Columbia will be the first to know in that sense when winter is close. The last example I can think of is when you wake up, it’s difficult as you love your sleep so much, but then again that’s me on most mornings.
Have I missed any examples? Let me know in the comments. It’s over and out from The Bearded Captain.
