Dixy mini burger going round in circles

Hello, good morning my Bearded Soldiers, it’s me your Bearded Captain. Leader of all Beards, flag bearer of all Beards on digital and digital broadcasting media. I am that Beard who tries to make people laugh, and I am that Beard who tries to make people smile.

Brothers, I pray you’re well, looking after yourselves and your Beards. My Bearded Kings, we need to talk about an important issue in the life of Beard, burgers. To be more precise in what I am talking about, I am of course talking about Dixy’s Mini Burgers.

If you don’t know this much about me by now, I love chicken and love Dixy’s. One of the things that I love most about Dixy is their iconic mini burger. Mini fillets, in like a hot dog bun, stuffed in the bun, with a generous helping of Mayonnaise, covered with lettuce.

For as long as I can remember it’s been a staple food of South Manchester. Unbelievably, the powers that be at Dixy changed the iconic red wrapper, and the burgers get wrapped, into a blue colour.

It looked very school dinners like, and we can’t be having that! thankfully they saw the light. Now, the wrapper is Dixy printed with the iconic red and white wrapper … yes it matters! What also matters is that some branches (rebels I know), changed the shape of this iconic cheap burger from long to round!

This kind of behaviour should lead to some Stone Cold Stunners for the decision-makers at Dixy HQ. To my relief, this wasn’t across the board and the branches that appear to have changed the mini burger shape were only a few.

Still though, when I opened my burger wrapper to tuck in, I had to remind myself I am not at KFC here. What riled me the most about this is, that in a round burger, it felt like not as much chicken was placed in the burger.
I will let you work out diameters, but professor my stomach made this non-scientific discovery.

Thankfully it appears the offending branch (offending to me), has seen the light and gone back to the traditional hot dog-style bun.
