The Window Wave Explained

Hello, good morning my Bearded Soldiers, it’s me your Bearded Captain. Leader of all Beards, flag bearer of all Beards on digital and digital broadcasting media. I am that Beard who tries to make people laugh, and I am that Beard who tries to make people smile.

Brothers, I pray you’re well, looking after yourselves and your Beards. My Bearded Kings, I want to talk about an important issue in the life of Beards. Let’s talk about The Window Wave, the silliest and funniest thing known in the workplace.

The window wave only works in the winter and at night. It’s hard to explain, but when done correctly, it’s the silliest and most amusing thing known to man. Simply put, at night time in an office/call centre environment, the window wave works at its best.

Simply, put, the window wave is waving through the reflection of the window, you see of your colleague. For full effect, you need to shout your colleague, watch their face of bewilderment as to why on earth they’re being called and then laugh when they realise why they’re being called.

The Window Wave is waving to someone through the reflection of the window at night time, in the winter in a call centre/office that allows this reflective angle to see their face. When I put it like that, it’s not funny at all, but it’s all about the delivery.

You need to shout the least expecting person, make sure they can see you through the reflective angle, and also ensure they would be the one most bemused by such childish antics. Here is a video demonstration to add some clarity you’re welcome!
