Bearded Kings let’s talk about an issue that’s important in the life of Beards, being civilised. It’s hilarious that some people in this country give morality lessons to people from other countries. My Bearded Stallions, going to Tesco in the evening is like a stampede come seven o’clock.
Bread at reduced rates is quite the draw for the UK or shall I say for the British public, name-calling has been plenty as well even on one occasion, what I call fisty cuffs, no you can’t make this up. Tesco wars have been going on for some time.
What has become something more recent is the rush and crowds generated on Black Friday, Cyber Monday and whatever name they come up with next. One thing is the same with these events, they all bring out animalistic behaviour.
Funny then, how in a country this happens, some think they can go to other countries and preach ethics and morals. These days it’s not just for these sale events, it’s for normal shopping items too. During lockdown, toilet rolls were in short supply.
I didn’t know Covid-19 gave you diarrhoea but ok. The shortage of toilet rolls got so bad that companies were hiring people to buy bulk loads. Going shopping in lockdown was a patience game, thank God it’s over right.
About that. Now toilet roll supplies are back in order, eggs are now in short supply. As of now, I have not seen people get violent over eggs as they have with toilet rolls and pasta. Unfortunately, I imagine it’s only a matter of time. It’s over and out from The Bearded Captain.
