Tops Manchester review

Hello, good afternoon my Bearded Soldiers, it’s me your Bearded Captain, leader of all Beards, flag bearer of all Beards on digital and digital broadcasting media. I am that Beard who tries to make people laugh and I am that Beard who tries to make people smile.

Brothers, I hope you’re well looking after yourselves and your Beards. My Bearded Kings, we need to talk about an important issue that’s important to me, food and some good quality food. So with that in mind my Beards let’s talk about Top’s Manchester.

Top’s is a restaurant and bar in Manchester’s City Centre, for normal people, I am referring to town. Back to the review though. The restaurant was nicely decorated and had an Oriental theme throughout.

As well as having food that catered to people from the Far East, they had ice cream deserts and cakes. The layout was like a buffet layout and the food stations were like other well-known buffets in the city.

With the venue being in town, parking is an issue and the need for a parking ticket will put many off as other venues don’t have this issue. The day I did this food review I got to the restaurant on foot.

I took the Metrolink, which got me there in quick time, the journey was smooth. As for the food itself it was nicely prepared and scored a 7/10. The reason why it’s been graded this score is for me, the bar element isn’t something I am keen on.

Their food was halal, some of it and the halal food was clearly labelled. Chicken tikka, rice naan bread and chicken wings were my items of choice as well as pizza and chips too. A very random mix and match of food, but for someone who was going to have halal and vegetarian options, I needed to do what was needed most.

So brothers, although the food that I tasted was nice, I just think that Manchester’s Curry Mile which has better parking, would be a better night out. Top’s do take card, which is a good thing, but sorry to say, if you want a night out where you want halal food, other places are better served for this and you don’t have to worry about mix and match.
