Hello, Greetings, my Bearded Soldiers. I hope you’re well and in good health. As you know, my name is Ayyaz Malik, and I go by the name of The Bearded Captain, Leader of all Beards, and Flag Bearer of all Beards.

My Dear Beards, and you know what, let’s address them too, My Beardettes (clean-shaven and the women). You’re probably thinking, isn’t that the same thing? They’re more than half of the way there, that’s true.

I do digress, my Soldiers. It’s a bit of a serious address today. I haven’t been very active on this page for some time. Life has gotten in the way. I have been working on the sports part and spending family time with family.

Family time is something I won’t regret. This blog takes a lot of time and effort, but not time and effort last the cost of missing my daughter grow up.

Ironically, I type this as if she’s having breakfast, but it is what it is. Also, Kings, I have had a loss in the family, so that took a bit out of me mentally. I am sure you can appreciate family deaths do that.
While still paying tribute to my Uncle (the deceased), I want to move forward in life. The challenge and honour for me is to make sure I am a good Bearded Leader, a good father, a good son, a good uncle, and a good brother, too.

Life is beautiful and needs to be respected and enjoyed where necessary. Life also needs to be appreciated for the thorns it can give you. It’s over and out from your Bearded Captain.
