Hello, good afternoon, my Bearded Soldiers, I pray you’re well in good health and state of mind. brothers we need to talk about saying goodbye. My God, can it be tough sometimes. I wrote an article about me having to say goodbye to my 11-year-old laptop.
That goodbye was that difficult that I am writing a goodbye blog on said laptop that was supposed to have had the janaza prayer, prayed over it. After my new laptop decided that it didn’t like drinking coffee after all, my old, new/current laptop, coughing away old age, came to my rescue.
Sure, he’s old, he’s 11 years old! His fan randomly turns on, and he misses letters when I type them. *Looks to Grammarly and sees four typos due to that very point*
His buttons aren’t quite the same; he misses letters, but I cried tears of joy when I got my old laptop back, resurrected. The friendly lady from Facebook Marketplace, you’re inducted into The Bearded Captain Hall of Fame.
Why? Well, the reason is simple, it’s due to her services to the website. She gave me all the things I needed, a screen monitor that cost £0.00 (woo hoo), and an HDMI cable that cost the same as the monitor.
That’s one case of a happy ending, for now. My Soldiers, now we’re facing another instance of having to say goodbye. My King’s, my B-Class electric car, is no more.
*Wipes away the tears*. Brothers, don’t get me started on the car itself. Well, I won’t then, the car doesn’t start. If one of you kind souls has £10,000 handy or lying around, The Captain will love you forever.
But the sad reality is this: I am looking for a new car, hoping that my electric car will literally burst back into my life like a corny love scene in a movie, and we run away happily ever after.
That would be kind of awkward on the other car. Sorry. I have said goodbye to cars and people; hopefully, time will be the best healer. Some way to ease the pain would be to ship an AMG G-Wagon to my house near Manchester Airport, thanks guys, love you lots xxx.
Yes, if anyone is wondering, I am going to tag Mercedes in this, maybe they appreciate the love I am giving them, and they give me a new motor, hehe. I can dream.
