In the case of both scenarios. They shouldn’t be as challenging as they are. Let’s use the example of changing the bed sheet. Bearded Soldiers, many a time I have when putting the bed sheet on and changing the quilt covers thought am I in a game of twister?

It should not be that hard! The pointer corner on the quilt matches with the pointed part on the quilt cover, but when putting all motions into practice, it’s a messy situation. I have (true story), put my hand in the quilt and even shoved the top half of me to try and solve the issue.

As mum’s always do, when she saw me having an issue, she just nonchalantly sorted it, looked at me in bemusement and went about her day. When the Mrs was pregnant, like a gentleman (and Dr’s advice), I was tasked with doing the bed sheets.

Thank God pillow covers are like child’s play to put on. The mattress covers putting them on? Well, it made me think, I could have been a gymnast, how’s fat me able to go into such positions. Have I got any better at doing it?

Let’s just say when it’s time to deal with the bedding, I realise I need to go to the gym or get milk and sometimes both. Such a caring one, I am. Now Bearded Knights, the other issue, changing nappies.

Why did this seem like a mind field to start with? Maybe because of the stigma it has in Asian society. Well brothers, it’s not that difficult, you can trust me. It’s like how you and I would put on our briefs or boxers, I prefer boxers.

The one challenge is a very restless baby. Remarkably, my daughter gets excited when her nappy gets changed. Maybe because she knows she’s getting her feet bitten! Kings, changing a nappy isn’t that hard.

Usually, it’s the Velcro straps side over the bum so that can fasten over the nappy. Might be hard imagining, but when you put it into practice, be prepared to thank me, Kings. It’s over and out from The Bearded Captain.
